objectivity it simply means looking at things on how it is presented regardless of how it relates to you and of how you feel about it,

it’s one of the very important things that WE must remember…

in every single session we have, objectivity will always be involved…

i remember a text message from a friend and it revolves around objectivity per se… her text message says “what is the hardest thing for a PSYCHOLOGIST?” “it is when all we want to do is to understand, be rational and be OBJECTIVE, but our emotions as a person PREVAILS”

true enough… even to those who are really that familiar on “psychology matters”

its really hard to understand a certain situation that somehow inflicts affective reactions…

how would you react to something neutrally and not show your emotions even if it hurts?

how would you say ” it’s ok ” if you know in you that “IT”S NOT OK?!”

how would you tell them that your not angry though you really are? and even if you do, your true EMOTION would still prevail…

so many questions of HOWs and WHYs…

yet no body can answer…

it’s because we all have emotions…

and emotions are bound to be expressed…

i guess objectivity only pertains to the relationship people have…

objectivity is limited as for me in client-professional (psychologist) relationship because it’s too impossible somehow for someone personally related to to another person to disregard his/her feelings just to be objective…

someone who was hurt has the right to tell the person who caused the pain…

simply say “IT”S NOT OKAY with me because IM HURT”

as simple as that…really..
